Funny that noone targets us bisexuals. I guess everyone thinks we're all very happy.

On another note, yes, everyone needs a good night of man-on-man or woman-on-woman or woman-on-woman-on-man or . . . whatever . . .

On a more serious note, I like what you say here: " even people who aren
Hard to be happy or unhappy, Nancy, when you don't exist! I can't imagine bisexuality fitting into the Exodus "mannish girl/girlish man" view of sexual orientation. Or perhaps we could really blow their minds by pointing out that every person they successfully get into be with a member of the opposite sex is, in a purely mechanical sense, suddenly bisexual.

I suppose there should be an ex-straight ministry, whose "cure" consists of man-on-man-on-woman-on-woman-on-trans loving.

There is a parallel, but a lot of racism has become "passive", underground, silent, whereas people can't seem to get enough of proclaiming their conditional non-homophobia.
All I can say is that for anyone trying to sterotype gay men or women. Go take a look at hotornot.com's meetme page. Browse through the photo's and you'll see gay men and women of every shape, type, and interest.

It's hard to believe people could still be so stupid in this day and age. Exodus has a strange philosophy but I guess there is a need for it after all they have customers. I fear though that they are in fact directing people who are unhappy to their organisation instead of to valid mental health professionals.

If you cannot accept yourself and you can change than may God grant you the courage to do that but I think most people will find that they need to accept the things they cannot change and for help doing that there are plenty of actual professionals out there to visit.

This is all very sad.
After some more consideration reached the conclusion that Exodus doesn't serve gay people rather it serves the purposes of a segment of society.

We don't have to live with, accept, or tolerate homosexulaity if it can be "reformed". It shifts "the blame" back onto the individual and absolves society of any responsibility.
