Jon Stewart News

In our ongoing coverage of Jon Stewart, has a good feature on the Daily Show’s brand of political humour. The article deals with Stewart’s (and his fellow Daily Show writers and cast) performance in terms of his comic aesthetic, rather than considering the show as straight reporting on the world’s absurdity as I prefer to see the show. Of course, this being Salon, you have to either subscribe or sit through the ad for a “day pass”, which wouldn’t be so bad if the system worked well and it was clear how to view the article once you watched the ad. Oh, and if the ads were not, 4 times out of 5, for Salon itself…
